Job Responsibilities

1. Design, train, and deploy tactile perception algorithms. Improve algorithm performance and robustness.

2. Process tactile sensor data; design and optimize data pipelines; construct datasets.

3. Apply tactile perception to robot dexterous manipulation, human-robot collaboration, and other scenarios.

4. Read research papers and track the latest advancements in relevant algorithms.

Qualifications

1. Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Geomatics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field; OR relevant research/project experience in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Computational Optics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, etc.

2. Proficient in programming languages such as Python and C/C++, with strong coding skills.

3. Solid understanding of deep learning theory, the PyTorch framework, and neural network architectures (CNN, Transformers, etc.); capable of completing the full iterative cycle from data to algorithm.

4. In-depth understanding of concurrent programming; familiarity with CUDA is preferred.

5. Prior project experience in robotics manipulation, perception & planning/control, SLAM, or related fields is preferred.
